Hi! I'm Ashley
My name is Ashley Inda. I have over 16 years of experience as an occupational therapist working in a variety of settings and with various diagnoses. I have enjoyed my professional journey and where it has taken me through the years, especially where I am right now.
It’s both personal and professional.
In December of 2021, at the age of 38, I received a delayed diagnosis of breast cancer and through chemotherapy, radiation, multiple surgeries, scans, etc. I met some of the most impactful healers and it made me want to pay it forward and smooth some of the bumps in the road for those that follow.
I became certified in lymphedema and switched to working as an outpatient occupational therapist at a local health care clinic primarily treating those impacted by cancer and/or with lymphedema.
Practicing out of New Moon Wellness is a full circle moment for me, as it provided so much healing for me during my own cancer journey. Every three weeks, I would visit Shannon Gyles and she would sit with me in whatever space I was in and help me to slowly rebuild. I want that for you too.
When I am not working, I am usually running my two children, Lincoln and Maya to their various activities, planning our next family vacation with my husband, Tyler, advocating for women with dense breasts at the state capitol and enjoying all the silver linings that have come as a result of my cancer diagnosis.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you on your health goals. It’s an honor to be a part of your journey and I so deeply believe that THIS is my life’s work and what I am meant to do.
